I believe this is an excellent model for Irish companies to follow as they seek to develop a strong presence in this fast growing South African market. We also wish to acknowledge the support of Digicall, Clarigen’s South African investor, who have made such a strong commitment to the success of Clarigen in this market”.

Peet van Jaarsveld, the SA based Chairman of Clarigen spoke of his anticipation of this deal as the catalyst for serious acceleration of the growth of the company in South Africa.

Minister O’Sullivan also visited the Digicall PBO offices in Cape Town to witness the Dublin based system, Clarigen, in action. This gave the Minister the opportunity to see the working of the system in a very dynamic operation – the Digicall contact center. PBO has 350 employees in Cape Town and has been using the Clarigen HR Management solution since June 2011. According to PBO the Clarigen system has significantly reduced the administrative burden relating to the HR management of 350 employees and the payback from the system has been exceptionally fast and effective.

Clarigen CEO, Bernie Cullinan also acknowledged the support of the Minister and Enterprise Ireland in the company’s development in the South African market.
